Sinika Timme is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Erasmus MC. Her research focuses on the daily dynamics of affect and health behaviour in relation to mental and physical health. She uses experience sampling methodology and digital interventions to study for whom and when mobile health tools are effective. Trained as a psychologist with a PhD in exercise psychology and health science, she has expertise in intensive longitudinal data, psychophysiological and behavioural measures. She has developed tools and led studies on psychological mechanisms of exercise behaviour and coordinated quality assurance in a mental healthcare start-up.
