Rania Kousovista is a Senior Researcher in Data Science at the Cardiometabolic Group, Department of Epidemiology, Erasmus MC. She holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Crete and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Loughborough University and the Alan Turing Institute. Her research uses large-scale electronic health record data to investigate cardiovascular and cardiometabolic disease through real world evidence. She is particularly interested in AI-driven precision medicine, sex-specific cardiovascular epidemiology, and multimorbidity.
