Oliver is a PhD candidate in the Department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Groningen, where he completed a Research Master in Lifespan Development and Socialization. Oliver’s PhD research examines the concept of affordances, focusing on how possibilities for action in the environment relate to psychopathology. Within the Stress in Action consortium, Oliver is conducting qualitative research on experiences of stress among university students and its impact on mental health.
