Dr. Lotte Brinkhof is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Psychiatry at Amsterdam UMC. Her research interests lie in stress, resilience, and vulnerability to mental health problems across the lifespan. She obtained her PhD cum laude from the University of Amsterdam, where she investigated predictors of mental and behavioral resilience in later life, combining advanced statistical approaches (e.g., network analyses) with habit-based intervention research. During a subsequent postdoctoral position, she broadened her research to other age groups, using EMA to examine how daily stress responses relate to changes in affect. In her current work, she uses longitudinal approaches to study trajectories of psychopathology and identify potential targets for prevention/intervention in (pre)clinical populations.
