Lot van Winden is a PhD candidate in the department of Psychiatry at Amsterdam UMC in the group of Prof. dr. Christiaan Vinkers. She studied Biomedical Sciences at Leiden University, with a focus on neurology, endocrinology, and circadian rhythmicity. Her PhD research involves collecting longitudinal real-world data in a cohort of healthy individuals through various methods, including ecological momentary assessment, wearable technology, and ambulatory 24-hour cortisol monitoring via subcutaneous microdialysis. Her project aims to elucidate how circadian and ultradian cortisol rhythmicity shapes stress resilience and contributes to mental health.
