As we have completed the third year of Stress in Action, we are happy to share the Annual Report of 2025 with you. The report provides an overview of 2025’s achievements and highlights across SiA’s research themes, support cores, collaborations, individuals and the full consortium. Thank you for being part of our consortium or your collaboration with us! Looking forward to phase 2 of the project coming up!

Highlights 2025

  • Our consortium grew from 91 to 107 members, expanding our collaborative network.

  • We have launched the first version of the Stress in Action Wearables Database. This is a new, open-access resource designed to help researchers select the optimal wearable devices for ambulatory physiological monitoring, especially in the context of stress research.

  • 30 consortium members actively participated in the annual meeting of the Society for Ambulatory Assessment (SAA) in Leuven in May 2025, presenting posters and papers, and chairing and presenting at symposia.

  • We held two engaging and well-attended consortium meetings: a one-day gathering in May in Amersfoort, and a three-day event in October in Amsterdam with our Scientific Advisory Board.

  • This year, the Stress Navigation podcast has published 11 new episodes, reaching 3000 streams and nearly 300 followers in 28 countries.

  • We organised a successful stakeholder event, StressConnect, together with DESTRESS. We welcomed over 125 participants from academia, business, and healthcare at the NEMO Science Museum Amsterdam. The event focused on the future of stress measurement and on fostering new collaborations at the intersection of academia and industry.
