Carmen van Klaren is a PhD candidate at the department of Psychiatry at Amsterdam UMC. She obtained her BSc in Cognitive and Neurobiological Psychology and her MSc in Applied Cognitive Psychology (cum laude) from Utrecht University. Prior to starting her PhD, she worked at the Netherlands Aerospace Centre, where she studied human performance in high-demand environments, with a focus on stress, workload, and fatigue using non-intrusive measures. Within the Stress in Action project, her current research focuses on stress in daily life and its relation to mental health using ambulatory and longitudinal data.
