Annelieke M. Roest works at the department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Groningen. In her research, she takes a lifespan approach to mental health complaints. Topics that she studies include the epidemiology of anxiety and depression in general population studies, anxiety and depressive symptomatology in persons with somatic diseases and stress in student samples (quantitative and qualitative data). She is the chair of the WMH International College Student surveys workgroup on (longitudinal) quantitative data analysis. She also has methodological expertise in systematic review and meta-analysis.
