Maria Esanu is a PhD candidate in the Department of Developmental Psychology at the University of Groningen. She completed a Research Master’s in Behavioral and Social Sciences with a specialization in clinical psychology. Currently, she is interested in the characteristics of stress exposure and response that make stress adaptive and contribute to positive mental health outcomes. As part of the Stress in Action project, she aims to uncover how stress inoculation interventions can be applied in everyday life to prevent stress-related disorders.
