Martin Gevonden is assistant professor at the department of Biological Psychology at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research interests include trauma, inequality and mental health, and how emerging (wearable) technology can be used to monitor the critical physiological and contextual parameters of the underlying disease process. He has first-authored publications in high-impact journals such as World Psychiatry and JAMA Psychiatry, and leads the VU-AMS development team, an ambulatory monitoring system for the measurement of stress in daily-life (
