DASC

The Data Analysis Support Core (DASC) aims to help SiA researchers make use of optimal analytic strategies in their research. This requires an alignment between one’s research question, data, and analytical technique. Hence, the DASC is concerned with:

  1. Raising awareness about how to best align these components of empirical research and how to make methodological decisions.
  2. Identifying data analytical challenges and developing new techniques to tackle these, by innovating the individual techniques and by combining dynamic modelling and machine
    learning techniques.

DASC gives advice on methodology and statistics in all phases of a research project. Members of DASC aim to provide data analytic support to all researchers within Stress in Action. Consortium members can reach out to DASC using their internal communcation platforms: Microsoft Teams or Slack. To help out the best way possible, members of the consortium could be invited to the monthly online DASC meetings to discuss their dilemma.
