Antje Schmitt is an Associate Professor in Organizational psychology at the University of Groningen. Her research focuses on self-regulation at work, employees‘ and entrepreneurs‘ coping with work events, and consequences for their occupational health and functioning. Specifically, she is interested in studying the cognitive-behavioral and emotional mechanisms and conditions, such as personality characteristics, that determine the way individuals react to negative events and demands in the work context.
