SUMMARY:Stress in Action monthly lab meeting
DESCRIPTION:All Stress in Action consortium members are invited to join us online at the monthly SiA Lab meeting. The next meeting will be the 3rd of April\, 2024. Every month we will invite a senior researcher/PI for an expert talk and two junior researchers to present their work. There will be time for sharing news and updates and discussion of research topics and projects. \nThe purpose of these meetings is to create a platform that will foster more integration between the researchers from the different research teams and institutes. It is expected that all consortium members join the monthly lab meetings.

DESCRIPTION:The 2024 Stress & Resilience conference takes place in Lausanne\, Switzerland. The 15th and 16th of April the conference themed ‘Exploring New Horizons in Science and Applications’ will take place at EPFL. \nDeadline to register: 31st of March\, 2024 \nSiA researcher prof. dr. Christiaan Vinkers will be one of the speakers during this conference focusing on: Childhood trauma as a transdiagnostic approach in psychiatry. \nThis two-day scientific conference will bring together leading scientists and stakeholders from around the world. This event will cater to a diverse audience\, including early career researchers\, PhD students\, postdocs\, and seasoned academics. The conference will feature presentations showcasing the state-of-the-art work on stress and resilience research\, offering insights into the sources of stress across various contexts and discussing targeted interventions to reduce stress and promote mental health. \nThis event will also be the opportunity to officially launch the Global Stress and Resilience Network (GSRNet)\, funded by the Swiss Academy of Sciences and co-directed by Profs.
